4 x 4 - Issue 3
With contributions by Matevž Lovšin, Weronika Wojda, Raphaël Massart, Mariana Escobar.
4/4 is a magazine based on a simple calculation: 4 contributors, 8 pages each. We arrived at this formula partly by instinct—because we cut the pie into 4 pieces (we didn’t think we could eat 8)—and partly because 2 is a company, 3 is a crowd, but 4 is a party. There’s also the vague memory of someone once saying that one of the last freedoms to defend is that 2+2=4.

Reproduced Images
by Jim Klok
In Reproduced Images, Jim Klok brings together a selection of works through the act of reproduction, using similar methods in which the works were originally made.
The act of reproducing documentation of (temporarily existing) work serves as a way to reactivate and recontextualize this work, resulting in a multilayered publication merging images and drawings.

Monograph for K.Budrys
by Augustinas Milkus
Monograph for K. Budrys presents a body of illustrations by Kęstas Budrys, a little-documented artist whose work appeared in Naglis, the first Lithuanian gay magazine, published from 1993 to 1997. Budrys’ drawings range from photorealistic, dot-based renderings of homoerotic imagery to irreverent cartoon figures and comic strips, moving between eroticism, awkwardness, humour, and sentiment.

It's Funny How I Met This Horse
by Kataryna Lymar
Text by Hanako Emden
The book contains photographs taken by Kateryna Lymar from the imaginative point of view of a newly hatched insect, just emerging from the ground and taking its first walk. The colourful but subtle images are laid out full bleed throughout the book taking you through familiar landscapes, putting them in a new light.
